It's my 30" secondary monitor's background heh) * I use EarthDesk to show me the world with real cloud data and moonlight. * The time in a few TimeZones I care about. e.g.: export TZ=America/Los_Angeles; date -j "+%n%a %l:%M %p"; * Local and regional weather radar * Local Temperature, Conditions and Forecast for today/tonight (these are all pulled off of Env Canada's RSS feeds. Could use WUnderground.com too) * I generate a graph of the temperature over the last 72hrs. Google Graphs. * Moon phase: http://tycho.usno.navy.mil/cgi-bin/phase.gif I've left GeekTool a Ticket hoping and praying for a WebKit view. :) http://is.gd/1iuUf (warning: 2Meg screenshot.
